SUMMARY:Rob Hancock Memorial
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to one of the most significant events on the PDGC Calendar.  On this day each year\, our community gathers to participate in memory of one of the pioneers of disc sports in WA\, Mr. Rob Hancock. \nMany of the veteran members of our club may tell you how this man touched their lives and bought them into the world of disc sports.  There are many stories about Rob\, but one memory was Rob driving long distances out into country WA to pick up a van load of kids and bringing them to Perth for a weekend of fun and learning about the different disc sports.  This day is also a celebration of the spirit and passion Rob had for our sport and the legacy he left for us all. \nThe event is capped at 65 competitors\, once you have registered you need to make payment by bank Transfer by 6pm on Thursday the 15th of April to lock in your spot. \nFormat\nThe Rob Hancock Memorial this year is a PDGA sanctioned B-Tier event and will consist of two thirteen-hole rounds for all competitors\, plus a nine hole final for the top four Masters-aged (40+) competitors across all divisions after the two rounds. \nRob Hancock Memorial 13 hole map for 2021\nHoles\n\n\n\nHole\nNOTES\n\n\n1\nNormal\n\n\n2\nNormal\n\n\n3\nNormal\n\n\n4\nNormal\n\n\n5\nNormal\n\n\n6\nNormal\n\n\n7\nNormal\n\n\n8\nNormal\n\n\n9\nTeepad close to hole 8 basket\, throwing towards; but shorter of basket 7 (temporary basket)\nDouble mandatory between 2 trees close to the basket.\nDrop zone in play for missed mandatory.\n\n\n10\nTeepad close to hole 8 teepad\, throwing towards teepad of normal hole 9 (temporary basket)\n\n\n11\nNormal hole 9 but teepad is moved closer but to the left of the normal teepad.\n\n\n12\nTeepad after normal hole 9 (this layout’s hole 11) throwing through a tunnel of trees towards left fairway of hole 2.\n\n\n13\nShort hole but an island hole.\nFirst shot must land within the flagged circle zone around the basket.\nDrop zone in play for missed circle on the first shot.\nTeepad to the west of hole 1 at the top of the hill near the big tree throwing towards the playground.\n\n\n\nSchedule\nThe event schedule is as follows\, but may be subject to change: \nSunday 18th of April 2021 \n\n8:30am-9am                      Tournament Check-in\n9am                                    Players Meeting\n9:30am-11:30am              Round 1\n11:30am-12:30pm            Lunch (BYO Food\, Water and Soft Drink provided) and Ring Of Fire\n1pm- 3pm                          Round 2\n3:15-4pm                            Masters\n4:15-4:45pm                      Awards Presentation\n\nRegistration\nRegistration is available at the following link: \nRegister via ADG \nCurrent registered players \nBe sure to pay after registration\, using the details below. \nPayment\nOnce you have registered\, please make payment via Bank Transfer to the PDGC account\, details below: \n\n$25 for PDGC Members\n$30 for non-members\n\n\n\n\nACCOUNT NAME:\nPerth Disc Golf Club\n\n\nBSB:\n066-192\n\n\nACCOUNT NUMBER:\n10386983\n\n\nREFERENCE:\nUSE “RHM2021 Your Name”\n\n\n\nThe event is capped at 65 competitors\, once you have registered you need to make payment by bank Transfer by 6pm on Thursday the 15th of April to lock in your spot.  If there is a waitlist at that time and there are registered players that have not paid\, we will remove those players (newest to oldest in registration order) to allow waitlisted players an opportunity to play. \nIf you have any questions\, please email Kris on president@perthdiscgolf.com  and we will be happy to assist. \nWe hope you can all make it along to what should be a great day of disc golf and memories of a special person in the history of our sport. \nCommittee \nPerth Disc Golf Club Inc.
