Four rounds, played over a 4 day weekend* at the magnificent and challenging Mundaring Disc Golf Course – home of the WFDF 2024 World Teams Disc Golf Championships. Mundaring Disc Golf Club is excited to announce this Pro/Am doubles fundraiser for our very own local superstar Blake Houston, to support his travel expenses to go to the USA in March and April to compete in multiple Disc Golf Pro Tour Events, including the Champions Cup PDGA Major which he qualified for by winning the Australian Disc Golf Championships at Mundaring back in November. This Pro/Am doubles event will give our amateur players the chance to play with local Pros, see information below for how this will work. So get involved in this fun day of social disc golf action and support our man to achieve what we all know he is capable of. .

The Red Tail Open 2026 follows hot on the heels of the Fantasy Open, taking us from a windswept coastal course to the Australian bush. The event will be played across both of Mundaring’s courses, the World Course and the Original Course. Divisions will be split in line with Australian Disc Golf (ADG) guidance, with each division playing both courses. The World Course will be adjusted as needed to suit different skill levels. Join us for two rounds of 18 holes in the hills. For 2026, we’re evolving the format with two distinct layouts, tailored across divisions to improve competitive balance while still showcasing everything Mundaring does best, elevation, technical lines, and smart shot shaping. The course will feature a refined mix of our classic terrain, with layout variations designed to challenge players at every level while keeping rounds flowing smoothly. This month, we leave the safety of the summer lands behind and march straight onto the proving grounds: the Perth layout of the World Course. Consider this your official summons to the Wall. Next month, the brutal Icebreaker tournament arrives to freeze your ratings and test your resolve. But before you face the true army of the dead in July, you must survive the layout built for lords and legends alike. The Perth Worlds layout looks magnificent in the biting June frost. It looks vast. It looks honorable. Do not trust it. Underneath that pristine winter morning vibe is a grueling test of distance, precision, and mental steel. The fairways demand maximum power, the gaps demand absolute loyalty to your lines, and the shifting winter wind is just waiting to hijack your plastic and betray you into the rough. Drives will be tested against the gale. Kicks will banish you to the wilderness. Putts will wobble in the icy air with medieval cruelty.
